The Cody Sanchez Memorial Foundation gave out its first
2 Awards for Best Drummer and Best Musician.
The Award for Best Drummer went to Nick Medora who played in the Galloway Schools since he was in 4th Grade. He was A Drummer for the Absegami Marching Braves and was Perccusion Section Leader for 2 years. He also played in Orchestral and Jazz Band. Nick will go on to Temple and play in The Marching Band. Nick will study Music and maybe a Music Teacher one day.
The Best Musician went to Lauren Deissler. Lauren also started with Band in a Galloway School in 4th Grade. She played Clarinet and Trumpet and Also Played in The Absegami Marching Braves. Lauren also played in the Orchestral Band as well. Lauren also plays The Piano. Lauren will play for The Kansas State Universisty Marching Band.
